Current-carrying capacities are manufacturer-published AS/NZS 3008.1.1 values for copper cables under typical Australian conditions (40°C air, 25°C soil, thermal resistivity 1.2 K·m/W, 0.5 m burial, single circuit unless derated above). Voltage drop uses the standard's three-phase mV/A·m values where published, otherwise computed from conductor resistance and reactance per Clause 4.4/4.5 (marked ~). Single-phase Vd = three-phase value × 1.155. This tool is for estimation and education only — it doesn't replace a full design check (fault-loop impedance, short-circuit rating, distributor and NSW Service & Installation Rules requirements).
