Level 1 ASP work is construction on the electricity network itself: the poles, overhead mains and underground cables owned by Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy. Relocating a network pole falls into that category, so it has to be done under Level 1 ASP accreditation and to the distributor's standards. It's a different scope from Level 2 work, which connects an individual property to the network. We manage the whole job as one project: site assessment, network application, design, the physical relocation and the paperwork handover.

A network pole belongs to Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy and often carries supply for several properties, so moving it needs the distributor's approval and Level 1 ASP network work. A private power pole sits on your own property and only supplies your premises. It doesn't need the same network approval, and we cover it separately on our private power pole installation page.
