A single dwelling TBS uses one pillar and one metering position. A duplex or triplex TBS requires a multi-outlet pillar with a separate circuit and TBS NMI for each dwelling, sized for multiple trades and staged occupation.
Most residential sites run on 63A circuits per dwelling, with 100A available where heavier tools or simultaneous multi-trade works require extra capacity. We calculate the right size during your free site assessment.
Yes. Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy require an individual Temporary Builder's Supply NMI for each dwelling on a duplex, triplex or multi-lot site.
Timeframes depend on whether a private power pole is required and on network processing times. We offer same-day and next-day site assessments and fast-track the network application.
Each dwelling's temporary connection transitions to permanent metered supply at practical completion and the TBS pillar is removed, coordinated with your retailer and network provider.
